General Population Baseline

A new point of reference

The  general population baseline was built based on the extensive MOXO database of over 1 Million assessments, creating a sample that represents the general population’s attention performance.

Stratified random sampling was employed since individuals with attention difficulties are over-represented in the Neurotek database. This method allows for representation of different attentional performance types proportional to the general population.

Five stratum were chosen after adjusting for skewness of the population, and individual general population baselines were created from 4880 assessments per age and gender group. Each baseline group consists of assessments representing very low (5%), low (5%), average (80%), high (5%) and very high (5%) attention performance, thereby depicting not only individuals with poor performance, but also those with high attention capabilities. All calculations were validated and approved by the Neurotek scientific review board.

All MOXO360 metrics are represented by percentile scores, calculated based on the individual’s age and gender matched baseline reference group.
